DO: Make the Boring Stuff a Little Less Boring

Not every task on your list can be delegated or dropped. Some things just need to get done, and they're going to take up your time either way. The question is whether that time feels like a drain or something a little more tolerable.

There's a simple move that might even get you to look forward to those tasks: pair them with something you actually enjoy.

THIS WEEK’S DO TIP:

Pair one tedious task this week with something that makes it genuinely better.

Book your appointments from a spot with a good view. Make phone calls on a walk. Go grocery shopping with a bestie. The task is the same, the experience doesn't have to be

This isn't about tricking yourself into productivity. It's about recognizing that how you spend your time matters as much as what you spend it on. A task done somewhere that feels good is still time well spent, and it's a lot more likely to actually get done. Win-win!

SIT WITH THIS

Which task have I been putting off because of how it feels — and what would make the doing of it actually feel good?

Go find your spot. Bring the thing you've been avoiding.
